Meet Tim Veigle...

Tim Veigle — A Lifetime of Service to Casselberry

I have called Casselberry home for nearly four decades. Born and raised in Central Florida, I grew up in the community I now have the privilege of serving. I attended Sterling Park Elementary, Tuscawilla Middle School, and graduated from Lake Howell High School in 1998. From my first job at Goodings in Casselberry, where I worked as a bagger, cashier, and customer service representative, I learned the importance of hard work, treating people with respect, and going above and beyond for my neighbors.

Throughout my career, I have focused on leadership, service, and helping others succeed. I spent 16 years with AT&T, starting as a collections representative and advancing into management roles where I coached, mentored, and developed teams. While working full time, I earned my Marketing degree from the University of Central Florida.

Today, I am a Broker Associate with Watson Realty Corp. My career has allowed me to work with families throughout Central Florida and has given me a firsthand understanding of the challenges communities face as they grow and change. Most importantly, it has reinforced my belief that growth must be thoughtful, responsible, and focused on maintaining the quality of life that makes Casselberry special.

Serving my community has always been a priority. I currently serve as Vice Chair of the Casselberry Planning and Zoning Commission, where I work to help guide decisions that impact our neighborhoods and our city’s future. I also serve on the Casselberry Chamber of Commerce Board, the Seminole County Public Schools Business Advisory Board, and the Harper Family Charitable Foundation, which provides grants to local charities throughout Central Florida.

I have also spent years working directly with residents through my service as President of both the Legacy Place and Sausalito Shores Homeowners Associations. These roles have allowed me to listen to neighbors, understand their concerns, and work toward solutions that improve our community.

Family has always been at the center of who I am. I was raised by my single mother and grandparents, and I come from a large extended family that taught me the value of community, responsibility, and helping others. My wife, Lori, and I were married in 2014, and together we are raising our son while continuing to be active members of the Casselberry community.

I am running for Casselberry City Commission Seat 1 because I believe our city deserves thoughtful leadership that listens to residents, makes responsible decisions, and protects the qualities that make Casselberry a great place to live, work, and raise a family.
